Description

This module introduces the concepts, principles, approaches and examples of interactive built environments (IBE) as innovative syntheses of digital and physical environments responsive to user and environmental changes. This course contains (a) the IBE Lecture Series delivered by invited speakers from industry, design practices and academia; (b) students' undertaking case studies of IBE and presenting the results in seminars and writing up a Critical Evaluation Report; (c) students' formulating a distinctive personal Digital Design Agenda informed by the lecture series, case studies, seminars and site visits as the starting point of the MSc Dissertation Project.
